Anthropogenic impact on the Amazon Rainforest

The Amazon rainforest which accounts for more than 30 percent of our planet’s tropical rain forests is situated within the countries of French Guiana, Ecuador, Guyana, Suriname, Brazil, Columbia, Venezuela and Peru. It harbours one of the most diverse ecosystem on Earth and plays a crucial role in maintaining our entire planet’s health. Throughout the next couple of months, I will discuss and analyse the devastating impacts of human activity on the Amazon rainforest.
